Hey everyone!
So today’s scripture come from Jeremiah 29:11 which says, “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”
I love this verse! It reminds me and promises me that no matter what I go through God has a plan for me that includes hope and a future, but it also reminds me that God DOES have a plan for me. One that may not be the plan I have for me.
I remember when I felt God call me into ministry, and for a while I struggled with it because it was certainly NOT my plan for my life. As time went on though I grew more and more excited that God would choose little ‘ole me to put a call on!
You know I think sometimes that God laughs and thinks, “If only he/she knew what I had for her,” as He sees the plans we create for our lives. I know it may be awfully scary, but ask God what His plans are for your life and truly listen. You may think it’s crazy and there is no way you are going to do it, but trust me, it will be a lot better in the end.
